Position Description

The Division of Dermatology, in the Department of Medicine, is currently accepting online applications. The four open positions are 12-month, annual appointments with a service period of July 1 - June 30, and will be at the Instructor level (Acting Instructor) or Assistant Professor level (Acting Assistant Professor) in the Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine. Anticipated start date July 1, 2021. 

These positions have the potential to be full or part time and will be based at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) at the Roosevelt Dermatology Clinic and/or at the UWMC Eastside Specialties Clinic in Bellevue and/or at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS).

University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. The successful applicant will have clinical responsibilities including the outpatient dermatology clinic and/or inpatient attending service, as well as, the opportunity to gain expertise in a specific academic/research area of Dermatology and to develop a unique impactful recognizable national presence.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an MD (or foreign equivalent) and Board Eligibility or Certification (or foreign equivalent) in Dermatology.  In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S,) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
