The position is a 18/5 hour combination position, such that: 


50% of working time to research, 
50% of working time must be used for education, including lectures, classes and examination. 
The assistant professor will be teaching in charge of health psychology in medicine 4. term, which means having to have the overall overview of the subject, planning the curriculum, syllabus, course description, coordination of teachers and development of teaching. 



An assistant will be hired at the Department of Clinical Medicine, and will be provided with office facilities available at the Department. for Functional Disorders, Aarhus University Hospital, in order to carry out research with direct reference to functional disorders. 



Div. Functional Disorders of the part of the head-heart-center, Aarhus University Hospital. Treatment outpatient department has no beds. The department treats and researches primarily in functional disorders in both adolescents and adults, and mainly receives patients from Jutland and Funen. 
The research includes both the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment as well as psychological and social aspects of these disorders. In addition, ensuring the future examination, treatment and care through research at the international level. We work closely with other clinical and research departments at home and abroad. There are good opportunities for cooperation in an interdisciplinary development and research. 



Applicants are evaluated using the following criteria:  



Academic 


• Applicant must have an academic research as a Ph.D. 
• The applicant must have experience in the initiation and execution of research and development in functional disorders 
• Applicant must be method strong in quantitative research 
• The applicant must be able to perform, and have experience with the guidance of psychologists, junior doctors, psychology students and medical students in relation to research within functional disorders 
• the applicant must be able to clarify, optimization and ensuring high international quality standards and procedures and in doing so initiate internal and external projects 
• the applicant must be able to develop and optimize application process and collaboration with RES, Data protection and Health 
• the applicant must be able to fundraise and below have experience with fundraising specifically in functional disorders 



Leader / manager


• the applicant must actively participate in fund targeted quality development / interlocking processes 
• the applicant must sea e experience with academic planning of university education specifically for medical students 
• The applicant must have experience managing university education specifically for medical students 
• The applicant must have experience in the examination of university education specifically for medical students 



Communicator


• The applicant must have the ability to impart knowledge to Unit staff 
• the applicant must have experience with active participation at meetings and conferences in relation to functional disorders at national and international level 
• the applicant must have experience in oral and written communication of research results in relation to functional disorders both nationally and internationally 
• the applicant must have experience in university teaching that is relevant to health psychology including experience with both lecture and group lessons.

• The applicant must be able to work interdisciplinary and cross-organizational - both inside and outside the organization as well as nationally and internationally 
• The applicant must contribute to creating a culture that stimulates cooperation and development Qualifications

Appointment as lecturer requires scientific qualifications at PhD level.
