Working in the Nanomedicine Laboratory as part of the Pioneer award, funded by CRUK, you will be a skilled Research Associate, with experience in studies using preclinical tumour disease models (including their establishment and maintenance). You should be the holder of an active Home Office Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 Personal Licence. Demonstrable previous experience in Mass Spectrometry data analysis is desirable. You should be able to interact effectively with researchers from a range of backgrounds, in order to contribute to an interdisciplinary programme of research. A basic understanding of cancer biology will be necessary, and some knowledge of nanotechnology will be advantageous.


You should hold a PhD in Pharmacology, Physiology, Pharmacy, Biology or Medicine or equivalent. Evidence of a developing research publication track record would be advantageous.
