The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics aims to offer the highest quality of patient care to all women at every stage of their lives.

Division of Gynecology

In addition to providing core care, the Division of Gynecology includes many subspecialties, in particular gynecological oncology. The Division houses a dedicated breast center where a multidisciplinary team ensures the optimal delivery of a personalized monitoring service to women. The Perineology and Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology Units, as well as consultations related to endometriosis or ovarian disorders, are also part of the gynecology care spectrum.

Division of Obstetrics

Apart from providing medical care during pregnancy through to birth, the Division is the regional reference center for high-risk pregnancies and maternal-fetal medicine. The Division collaborates closely with the Neonatal Unit where approximately 500 newborns are hospitalized each year and who benefit from care and close monitoring by highly skilled medical teams on a 24/7 basis.
