DESCRIPTION

The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA seeks a full-time faculty member as Associate or Professor in-Residence to join the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Section.

 

This faculty position requires a strong academic track record, publications and grant funding in the field of diagnostic neuroradiology encompassing stroke or brain tumors. Clinical responsibilities will comprise coverage of all diagnostic neuroradiology inpatient and outpatient services at all hospitals and outpatient imaging centers in UCLA Health. This encompasses all major diagnostic (CT and MR) modalities, as well as performance of ACGME defined image-guided procedures. The candidate will supervise and teach neuroradiology fellows and radiology residents. Research experience in advanced imaging and collaboration with basic scientists is strongly favored. The position requires superior clinical, procedural and teaching skills. The candidate must be board certified in radiology and fellowship trained in diagnostic neuroradiology.
