Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 201801584) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)


Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in nursing, nutrition, public health, psychology, health education or other related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience. They should have good interpersonal and organisational skills, effective communication skills, proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English, and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be highly motivated, able to coordinate research projects independently and multi-task. Previous work experience in clinical or health related research projects would be an advantage. Those with less experience and lower qualifications may be considered as Research Assistant I/II. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to diabetes prevention in the community setting. He/She will recruit study participants, develop health education materials, implement research protocols and health promotion activities, assist in proposal writing, draft reports and publications, and perform other duties as assigned.
