Research Associate/Fellow (Fixed-term)

The purpose of this role will be to have responsibility for the conduct of specific elements of a programme of research in the lipidomics strand of the Nottingham NIHR BRC Musculoskeletal theme. This programme of research applies lipidomics methods to BRC funded studies on osteoarthritis and pain.
The partnership between University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust was recently awarded by NIHR, a transformational £23.6 million to expand their pioneering work into new treatments and diagnostics for a wide range of health problems, establishing anew Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).

Candidates should have a PhD (or near completion) in analytical science, mass spectrometry or a related area.
This fixed-term post is available for a period of 24 months and is full-time, however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
