The Yale University School of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position that will carry an academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychiatry.

This position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry requires a PhD in Computational Biology, Psychiatric Genetics, Population Genetics, or Biomedical Informatics with experience in human genetics. This position involves conducting research that advances understanding and treatment of psychiatric diseases, especially substance use disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder, through analysis of large-scale human genetic and multi-omics data. Responsibilities include designing novel studies, oversight of regulatory approvals for conducting human subjects research, integration of genomic data from multiple resources, analysis of consortium data  (namely, UK Biobank, Million Veteran Program and Psychiatric Genomic Consortium), applying for funding for ongoing research, presenting data at conferences and publishing findings.
