Must be Board Certified faculty member with Doctorate of Medicine degree in an area of geriatrics to join its Family Medicine Residency Faculty at CentraState. Priority will be given to applicants who have demonstrated strong clinical and teaching skills within the Graduate Medical Education system. The Family Medicine Residency sponsored by CentraState is an ACGME accredited 6-6-6 program located in a newly opened Federally Qualified Health Center and a 284 bed community hospital. Faculty practice includes the full spectrum of Family Medicine with inpatient and outpatient setting and with a commitment to graduate medical education, community service, team building, evidence based medicine, leadership, research, and fulfilling administrative and teaching responsibilities. The program supports academic and professional growth with participation in scholarly activity including office based research. The Family Medicine Residency CentraState Practice is an NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home operating in a newly built facility featuring the latest technology to create the optimal teaching environment. All charting is done electronically, allowing the behaviorist to securely access patient medical records from remote locations. Located in Central Monmouth County a short drive to the Jersey Shore, CentraState Healthcare System has been an integral part of the attractive, culturally diverse, and thriving community of Freehold NJ, since 1971.
