Salary
£36914 to £49553 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor to lead the Advanced Clinical Practice programme (apprenticeship and non-apprenticeship route). The post is available as a Research & Teaching (R & T) or a Teaching and Learning (T & L) position.

Applicants will be expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of this, and other, relevant post graduate and undergraduate modules. You may contribute to curriculum development in the School and you will be expected to liaise with external stakeholders, such as clinical providers and regulatory bodies. In addition to this, applicants for an R&T post will be expected to undertake and disseminate research.

For a T&L post, candidates must have a Masters degree or equivalent, be registered with the NMC and have significant experience in delivering advanced clinical practice. The candidate must also have relative teaching experience and be a non-medical prescriber.

The role will be based at the Nottingham centre (QMC), but you will be expected to travel to clinical placement areas as appropriate and work from home when appropriate.

This permanent role is offered on a 0.2 - 1 FTE basis to suit the requirements of the role holder in balancing their own Advanced Clinical Practice alongside an academic post.
