Position Description

The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence who investigate the molecular mechanisms that control protein translation, with the long-term goal of developing novel approaches for the treatment of cancer.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualification The academic faculty appointment will be in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School. Appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have an M.D., Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D degrees. The position provides an attractive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational investigators. Candidates are expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
