Summary Description

The cancer biostatistics program at Columbia University Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC) and Department of Medicine (Division of Hematology and Oncology) has an open position of Assistant Professor. Applicants who have a research focus in clinical trial designs and inferences (e.g., basket/SMART designs), causal inference, high-dimensional data, health outcome research/electronic health record, or machine learning are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be expected to closely collaborate with HICCC researchers, while continue developing methodological research in their area of interest. In addition, successful candidates will have opportunities to get involved in educational activities at Department of Biostatistics, including teaching and mentoring graduate students.



Minimum Degree Required




Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have a PhD or comparable degree by the start of appointment in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field.
