Job DescriptionReq Id: 39117 Job SummaryThe School of Nursing at Purdue University West Lafayette Campus is seeking to fill an Assistant Clinical Professor position. This is a full-time academic year appointment with a desired start date of August 17, 2026. Individuals in this role will contribute to the clinical teaching, engagement, and service missions of the University, College of Health and Human Sciences, and School of Nursing. Depending on departmental needs, this posting may be used to fill multiple positions. Purdue School of Nursing graduates impact health and influence healthcare delivery worldwide. The School of Nursing (SON) is a leader in clinical education, offering undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS, DNP, PhD, Post-Master’s Certification) programs.
The SON has a diverse faculty of 40 clinical and 14 research/tenure-track members, recognized for innovative educational approaches including high-fidelity and virtual reality simulation and active learning. The School leads research that advances evidence-based care and provides transformative learning experiences. Nursing clinics include one campus-based and four community-based locations. In 2027, the SON will move into a new state-of-the-art building designed to support next-generation learning, discovery, and engagement.
