Key Responsibilities
Support veterinarians, nurses, and specialists in patient care, including monitoring, treatments, diagnostics, and the use of specialised equipment.
Assist with advanced procedures such as radiography, CT, MRI, and clinical pathology under supervision.
Contribute to hospital operations through inventory management, digital recordkeeping, and adherence to nursing policies and procedures.
Deliver professional client service, student support, and administrative assistance to ensure smooth clinic operations.

A recent graduate of The University of Queensland (within the past three years) with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Veterinary Technology) and/or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or Cert IV in Veterinary Nurse
Possess or be willing and able to apply for a radiation licence
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to maintain professional and operational relationships with all stakeholders including colleagues, clients, and students
Ability to learn and carry out clinic-specific protocols
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with use of initiative and autonomy
Willingness to participate in professional service activities (e.g. AVNAT registration, VNCA, Community organisations, RSPCA, AVA PetPeP)
