The Departments of Sociomedical Sciences and Epidemiology at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in New York City invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist with interest in implementation science, cancer health disparities, and/or breast cancer prevention and control.

The fellow will join a research team with active NIH and American Cancer Society funded projects on a range of cancer disparities topics, including improving evidence-based breast cancer screening practices in diverse populations; investigating the role of mammographic breast density in breast cancer risk, screening, and clinical risk assessment; understanding the sources and strategies for addressing cancer health disparities with a focus on urban, racial minority and immigrant populations; understanding the implementation and de-implementation of breast cancer screening guidelines and practices in clinical and community settings; and examining the long-term sustainability of cancer screening programs across diverse real-world contexts.
