Date Posted: October 27, 2025 DescriptionThe Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, and the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre invite applications for an academic Infectious Diseases position. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto with a Clinician Teacher (CT) position description at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The expected start date is July 1, 2026, or at a mutually agreeable later date. The successful candidate will have clinical expertise in the assessment and management of Infectious Diseases. For the Clinician Teacher role, the applicant must demonstrate advanced training and a track record of teaching accomplishments. Teaching excellence will be evaluated through strong interest in education, quality of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, formal training in teaching methodology, teaching awards, leadership as a clinical educator, and other relevant experience. Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will join the Division of Infectious Diseases at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, providing inpatient consultation services for complex patient populations across medical, surgical, oncology, and trauma/critical care services.
