This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The University of California, Davis and UC Davis Health seek a collaborative, dynamic, and strategic research leader to serve as the next Associate Dean for Research (ADR) of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Nursing, the ADR will provide leadership, vision, and integrity in the shaping of the School of Nursing research policy and training. They will play an integral part in developing the School’s research mission, fostering collaborative relationships and research initiatives across UC Davis Health, the UC Davis Office of Research, and peers in the other UC Davis colleges and schools. ABOUT UC DAVIS HEALTH: UC Davis Health serves 33 counties in California. The Association of American Medical Colleges has previously honored UC Davis Health with the “Outstanding Community Service Award” for its commitment to the community and region. Additionally, UC Davis has one of the country’s largest telehealth networks and demonstrates UC Davis’s commitment to using technology to improve access to inpatient and outpatient specialty care, professional education, and for new models of chronic disease management that embrace self-management of one’s health.
