Associate or Full Professor WOT- Rheumatology (Clinical Director)Position OverviewOrganization: Medicine, Rheumatology Title: Associate or Full Professor WOT- Rheumatology (Clinical Director) Position DetailsPosition DescriptionThe Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the Associate or full Professor level (without tenure due to funding, annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30], commensurate with qualifications) to serve as Clinical Director of the Division, overseeing clinical practice across all sites: Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, VA of Puget Sound, Northwest Hospital, and Eastside Specialty Center. Duties of the position will include experienced and effective leadership with a strong commitment to clinical operation efficiency, focusing on faculty productivity, access to care, and patient and physician satisfaction. This position will work with section heads, key clinical faculty, division revenue cycle manager, and clinic managers to achieve these goals. Additionally, this position will have clinical responsibilities across sites. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. This position has an anticipated start date of February 1, 2021. QualificationsSuccessful candidates must have an M.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) with board-certification in rheumatology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
