DescriptionThe Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology is conducting a search for new faculty members at the level of Associate Professor in the Investigator Track. The search seeks mid-career candidates whose research is investigating how nutrient signals regulate cellular and organismal growth mechanisms. The department is especially interested in identifying candidates whose work is focused in the areas of metabolic regulation by the mTOR Complex 1 signaling pathway, gene regulation through mechanisms that target the translation and stability of mRNAs involved in growth-related processes such as ribosome and mitochondrial biogenesis, and the design next-generation RNA-based therapeutics using massively-parallel reporter assays that maximize the production of functional proteins from linear and circular RNA modalities. Excellent opportunities are available for collaborative research, as well as for graduate and medical student teaching. QualificationsCandidates must hold a Ph.D. Application InstructionsApplicants should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement that describes past research accomplishments and future goa ls. Reference letters will be requested for those on the list of final candidates. Application Deadline: May 15, 2025. Applicants should apply at the following website: http://apply.interfolio.com/166201
