Summary Description

The Division of Experimental Therapeutics within the Columbia Department of Psychiatry is seeking a faculty-level position as Associate Research Scientist to conduct, lead, and manage clinical and translational EEG, fMRI, and personalized brain stimulation patient-oriented research in the Division of Experimental therapeutics on healthy controls, schizophrenia patients, and clinically high risk research participants.

Minimum Qualifications:

Specific duties and responsibilities will include: 
-Oversight of design, implementation, data collection, and data analysis of clinical, EEG/ERP/ESRP, fMRI (task-based and resting-state), and individualized MR-guided tDCS patient-oriented research
-Ensuring ethical and responsible conduct of research including overseeing IRB protocol submissions, amendments, informed consent, capacity assessments, and data safety/monitoring
-Clinical/medical oversight of research studies including administration of clinical and behavioral assessment tools (e.g. SCID-V, PANSS, MATRICS, AHRS, and PSYRATS)
-Presentation of research results in the form of posters, talks and publish manuscripts
-Procurement of research funding through internal and external research grant applications
