Associate Research Scientist in Ophthalmology

Summary Description

The incumbent will design, conduct, and report results of independent research, manage research interns and research associates. In addition, mentor graduate and medical students as well as train laboratory personnel with the procedures of laboratory regarding animal handling, safety, proper use of equipment and safe disposal of waste. Responsibilities will also include activities related to the research program of the Principal Investigator.



Minimum Degree Required

Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or M.D.



Minimum Qualifications

At least 3-5 years of high level experience



Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience in Ophthalmic research and ability to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
