Bioinformatician (100%) The Department of Biomedicine (DBM) is a joint effort between the University of Basel and the University Hospitals Basel. The facility is a centralized resource of expertise for the analysis and visualization of large-scale biological datasets, available to researchers at DBM and the Biozentrum. The position is initially limited to 3 years and it is available immediately or upon agreement. Your position

Consultancy in the design of high-throughput experiments
Computational analysis of -omics experiments, including expression studies (“bulk” and single-cell RNA-seq) and gene regulation studies (ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, DNA variants calling), long reads sequencing, proteomics and spatial transcriptomics
Set up robust and reproducible workflows to standardize analyses

Your profile

Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as computational biology, statistics, physics, or mathematics with strong interest in biology
