Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a twelve-month, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor in Primary Care Nursing faculty position in the WellStar School of Nursing, which begins August 2019.

The WellStar School of Nursing is seeking a clinical track faculty member who is prepared as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The position is a 12-month, non-tenure track position. Ideal candidates will have previous teaching experience in graduate nursing education and 3-5 years’ experience as a FNP. Primary teaching responsibilities will be graduate courses in the WellStar Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. There is also an expectation of service to the department/college/university and/or professional community.

A doctoral degree in nursing (PhD, EdD, or DNP) or a related field or the foreign equivalent is required. Candidates must possess a master’s degree in nursing or its foreign equivalent with preparation as a family nurse practitioner. Candidates must hold or be eligible for certification and license as a family nurse practitioner in the state of Georgia.
