Position Summary

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time fixed-term faculty member at the rank of Clinical Instructor to work at the WakeBrook Campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The position would allow the faculty member to work on the Facility Based Crisis Unit at WakeBrook full-time during the day shift, M-F. Job responsibilities may include: providing individual and group therapy; conducting clinical assessments; making referrals; working as part of a multidisciplinary team; collaboration with families; educating family members on available resources; conducting discharge planning. Document all clinical work thoroughly and on required forms or in the EMR within established time frames; promptly complete consumer eligibility, data entry, referral and encounter forms as appropriate.

Educational Requirements
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a human services field (i.e. Masters in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology) and a North Carolina licensure.

Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should ideally have experience working in short-term therapeutic environments, as well as conducting case management. The successful candidate will have experience providing leadership working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong clinical and diagnostic skills working with individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.
