We are now looking for a coordinator who will be our link to the educational programs and help us develop and implement our health promotion work in the area of mental health. Please read more about Student Health here Your roleThe role includes identifying needs in the student group and matching these with Student Health's offer and with other student support within the institution, as well as contributing to developing the offer. You will work in very close collaboration with the education programs and student unions. The work involves offering activities and efforts at group and organizational level for students on Karolinska Institutet's undergraduate program. The role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with the research conducted within the university in the area of mental health. As the role is new, you will be able to contribute to developing the content of the tasks, together with the colleagues. Depending on your skills and experience, it may include, in addition to the coordinating function, holding information sessions and health-promoting activities for groups of students yourself. A large part of the work initially will be to orient oneself in Karolinska Institutet's educational organization with the aim of identifying suitable target groups for the efforts as well as mapping, coordinating and making visible the existing student support offered within the institution. As a coordinator for health-promoting activities, you will be part of Student Health's interprofessional team of 10 people. We constantly work to develop the business and also make sure to support each other and have fun at work. Student health's activities are offered on both campus areas as well as remotely via digital channels. Who are you?We are looking for someone who is responsive, proactive and good at creating and nurturing professional relationships. You have a university or college degree in a field relevant to the work, such as health educator/health counselor, special educator/teacher, specialist in work and health or equivalent. You also have previous experience of health promotion work or previous work experience that the employer deems relevant. You have documented knowledge in the field of mental health and an interest in following the development of knowledge in the field. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English. Experience of work within a university/college is meritorious, as is experience of health promotion work at a strategic level.
