Date Posted: 02/02/2026 DescriptionThe Department of Medicine, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto is seeking applicants for the position of Program Director, Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy. Applicants must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Successful completion of the Continuing Faculty Appointment Review (CFAR) is required. Preference will be given to applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. The term of the Program Director (PD), Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy appointment is five years, with the possibility of one renewal following a successful review. The effective start date is July 1, 2026, or an alternative date as mutually agreed upon, with a transition/mentorship period prior to the start date. Division OverviewThe Division of Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the University of Toronto is a dynamic and vibrant division, central to the clinical care of complex patients across all major teaching hospitals affiliated with the University of Toronto. Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Program Director, Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy is a highly valued leadership position and is pivotal to the overall success of the Department. The Program Director is responsible for the overall conduct, organization, and accountability of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada’s Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy residency training program. The Program Director reports directly to the Vice-Chair, Education (or designate) and the Departmental Division Director, and is accountable to the Associate Dean, Postgraduate Medical Education.
