Institution: University of Chicago, Department of Medicine – Section of Cardiology Location: Chicago, IL, US Position Type: Full-time, Faculty (Associate Professor or Professor) Overview The University of Chicago seeks an accomplished leader to serve as Director of Adult CMR/CCT Programs within the Section of Cardiology. The Director will join and lead an established team of nationally and internationally recognized clinicians, researchers, and educators in cardiac imaging. This leadership role includes expanding clinical and translational research, increasing study volumes, and overseeing the growth of advanced cardiac imaging to satellite facilities. Responsibilities Lead and manage adult CMR and CCT clinical programs, including multiple satellite cardiac imaging labs. Provide interpretation of CMR/CCT studies and deliver inpatient and ambulatory cardiology care. Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and students. Develop and implement strategies for research expansion and integration of multimodality cardiac imaging. Collaborate with Section of Cardiology, Multimodality Cardiac Imaging Laboratory, and Heart and Vascular Center leadership. Participate in scholarly activities, publications, and presentations in the field of cardiac imaging.
