UCC wishes to appoint an experienced professional to the role of Director of the Health Innovation Hub Ireland (HIHI). This is a five-year position reporting to the HIHI Principal Investigator, Professor John R. Higgins.

The Health Innovation Hub Ireland (HIHI) Director is accountable for the development and implementation of the strategic objectives and direction of HIHI in line with the HIHI five-year Business Plan.

The Director will have extensive experience in life sciences, healthcare, product development and entrepreneurial engagement. The appointee will be a highly effective communicator with very strong relationship management and leadership capabilities. The Director will continue to strengthen HIHI’s role as a key component of innovation in healthcare building on the success of the last five years and delivering the objectives of HIHI for the next five years.

Appointment will be made on the personal rate of €120,000 per annum.
