About This Opportunity A Senior Lecturer will focus their efforts on leveraging their established record of achievement in teaching (including clinical teaching, where appropriate), research and service and engagement to coordinate or lead the activities of other staff and is expected to have an active and effective record of supervising Higher Degree by Research students successfully to completion as principal supervisor. As a teaching focussed academic at level C the incumbent is expected to have achieved national recognition and have a developing international profile in their field of research, which might include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Purpose of the role The Head of MD Learning Hub is a key leadership position within the UQ Medical School. The primary purpose of the role is to lead, manage, and review the provision of high-quality education within the first year and parts of the second year of the medical program on the St Lucia Campus. Critical to this is the development of strong and collegial relationships with key stakeholders in the School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Public Health, Academy for Medical Education, and the Clinical Schools, as well as relevant areas within the Faculties of Science, Health and Behavioural Sciences and Humanities and Social Science, who contribute teaching to the MD Program and have programs feeding students into the MD Program.

This is a full-time (100%), continuing position. At Academic level C or D.
At Level C The full time equivalent base salary will be in the range of $128,9 - $147,717 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range of $149,888 - $172,83
At Level D The full time equivalent base salary will be in the range of $154,254 - $169,941 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range of $180,477 - $198,831.
As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.
