Job Summary Adjunct faculty have part-time teaching roles, teaching up to 2 courses per term, not exceeding 10 courses per year. Responsibilities include: Participating in continuing professional development Engaging in faculty governance and curriculum work as needed Additional service activities as assigned Delivering high-quality instruction and fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment conducive to student success The mission of the on-ground, part-time Adjunct Nursing Instructor is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in their chosen field of study. Instructors work under the guidance of the Director of Education, Dean, Program Head, or designee. Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in the Bangor, ME area or within commutable distance.
