Summary Description

The Division of Pediatric ID is seeking to hire a physician-investigator at the Instructor level. The successful candidate must be board-eligible in Pediatric ID, having successfully completed an accredited Peds ID fellowship. Demonstrated clinical expertise is required and experience dealing with the complicated infections seen in immunocompromised children, BMT, solid organ transplants as well as routine ID issues. Importantly, the position requires a strong background in basic science and demonstrated facility with bioinformatics, optimally as evidence by a PhD in a relevant field. We expect the successful candidate to be actively involved in bench research with the goal of submitting grant applications in the future, as well as participating fully in the clinical and teaching activities of the division.



Minimum Degree Required




Minimum Qualifications

BC/BE general/critical care pediatrician; they must meet the requirements to practice clinical medicine in New York State.
