Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching Physical Pharmacy using modern methodological and educational technological approaches within Bachelor’s and Master studies programmes and Lifelong Learning programmes - giving lectures, seminars and practical work. Activities related to the administration and development of teaching.
  • Supervision of student research work and final work (Bachelor’s and Master theses).
  • Research and development work in the area of Physical Pharmacy as part of the Physical Pharmacy Research Group.
  • Conducting development work which supports the personal and professional development at the Institute of Pharmacy.
  • Development of collaboration within the University's different institutions and between Universities in Estonia and in the world.
  • Self-improvement in teaching and supervision skills and research and development.

Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • The candidate must have experience in the research and development work in the area of Physical Pharmacy.
  • The candidate must be qualified to teach at the university on the area of Physical Pharmacy and supervise students.
  • The candidate must be ready to conduct research and development work.
  • It is desired that the candidate have some previous work experiences in conducting Physical Pharmacy teaching at the University.
  • The candidate must have good skills to communicate with students and support them during their studies in practical courses, seminars and lectures.
Required language skills
Excellent English and Estonian language skills.
