The Institute of Health Sciences Education are recruiting for the above post.

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess a PhD or equivalent, with relevant teaching experience. They will be expected to lead, develop and deliver to MBBS/GEP students, high quality teaching, learning and assessment in the clinically relevant basic sciences (specifically physiology and or anatomy). The post-holder will be expected in due course to assume responsibility for leading one or more modules of the UG medical curriculum under direction of the Head of Phase One. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career and develop leadership skills.

The successful candidate will contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute, School and University. They will contribute to the student experience through curriculum development and the delivery of teaching activities primarily but not exclusively in the subject areas of physiology and or anatomy. It is expected that the postholder will engage in research that focuses on educational curriculum design or delivery or other similar areas.

The post is based at the Whitechapel campus in London. It is a full time permanent appointment. The Salary will be in the range of £42,433 - £52,833 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
