The School houses the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics, an interdisciplinary drug discovery institute which has ADME and pharmacokinetics at its core to support human and preclinical studies from its own discovery pipeline and in collaboration with clinical trial investigators in other settings. The successful applicant will be a team player for research and will have a developing research track record that includes ADME, as demonstrated by publications. The post holder will have clear plans to secure external research funding to realise your own and the school's potential.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic teacher with a professional and academic background appropriate to research-informed education with and the ability and passion to teach from foundation level up to master's level that is orientated towards health professional postgraduate occupations and entry into medicine. The post holder will lead teaching focused on medical biochemistry including the module 'nutrition and energy'. You will also contribute to our sector-leading MPharm and MSc and MRes programmes in relation to your expertise, including project supervision. You will have a commitment to our widening participation agenda to enable all students to achieve their potential. And you will work with colleagues to ensure excellent delivery of learning, teaching, assessment and student support and be keen to make a significant contribution to developing new course provision.
