Job  description

This post represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to continue to develop their research in a buoyant and expanding School of Life Sciences. We are looking to appoint a research-active person with expertise in infectious diseases, particularly vector borne pathogens.


You will have a Ph.D. and expertise in the biology of infectious diseases which compliments the research profile of the School of Life Sciences in insect vectors/entomology and infectious pathogens including virus, bacteria and parasitic organisms. You will develop your international research profile by developing in time a world leading research group within the School. You would be expected to complement existing research activities in the School and the wider University.
