Duties and responsibilities
  • Lecturing and conducting seminars and practical study classes (in Estonian and English) in the field of oncology (chemotherapy, radiotherapy), including preparation of teaching materials.
  • Participating in the research of the department.
  • Supervision of residents.
  • The classroom teaching load at the Faculty of Medicine is at least 34,5 academic hours per calendar year (at a workload of 0,1). 
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • Lecturer must be a highly qualified specialist in the field or in a closely related field.
  • Previous teaching and research experience in oncology (chemotherapy, radiotherapy).
  • Internationally recognised professional research, the volume of which is equivalent to that of at least one doctoral thesis.
Required language skills
The candidate's Estonian and English skills must be sufficient for communication in his/her specialty.
