Teaching: Develop, deliver and coordinate courses, engage in curriculum design, assess students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules. Research: Establish research programs, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals and utilise best practice research methodologies. Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback, mentoring and training, and resolve conflicts. Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values. A PhD in a relevant field of Speech Pathology. Currently hold or be eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia, and hold or be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card. Expertise in paediatric speech pathology. Evidence of a growing profile in speech pathology related research, including publication of scholarly papers in high quality outlets and applications for external research funding. Evidence of a high level of quality teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level across a variety of settings, including small and large groups. Experience in course coordination and contribution to the development and continuous innovation of new programs, curriculum design and course material in the discipline area. A growing record of supervision of Honours and Research Higher Degree students to successful completion.
