Job description
The RTG 2816 is a research consortium focused on exploring and leveraging non-canonical G-protein signaling pathways for the purpose of establishing new therapeutic approaches.
You will use cell-based assays (bioluminescence resonance energy transfer, siRNA mediated gene knock out, cellular imaging, qPCR, etc.) to elucidate unknown interactions between GPCRs and receptor tyrosine kinases at the cellular level.
Analyses will focus on the subcellular spatial and temporal dynamics of these interactions, with an effort to resolve how different pharmacological approaches may strategically and uniquely alter them.
The position is limited to a period of three years.
Your qualifications
University degree (Diplom or Master) in Biology or related natural sciences.
Eligible to obtain a doctorate degree from the University of Tübingen.
