PhD Studentship in Assessing the Role of Sleep in Reducing Risk and Improving Outcomes for Breast Cancer University of Bristol - Department of Population Health Sciences United Kingdom

The MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit, through links with the Bristol Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR Bristol BRC) and University Hospitals Bristol, is offering an exciting 3-year PhD opportunity funded by the Above and Beyond Breast Cancer Legacies. The PhD studentship will involve mixed-methods research (both qualitative and quantitative data analysis) to investigate the role of sleep patterns in breast cancer risk and progression. The successful candidate will benefit from a supervisory team with expertise in cancer and molecular epidemiology as well as medical oncology. Candidate requirements:  Potential applicants for this PhD need to have at least a good Honours (minimum requirement is a 2:1) or master’s degree in a relevant subject e.g. biomedical sciences, health sciences. Funding: Fully funded for 3 years with stipend of £15,955-16,626, UK/EU fees and a research grant
