You are a motivated and dedicated candidate who has completed a PhD in biomedical sciences or a similar subject. You preferably have experience with (primary human) cell culture, RNA and protein activities (Q-PCR, RNA sequencing, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry), cell imaging techniques (confocal, live imaging), and specifically with bioinformatics (use of R) and big data analyzes (ideally for (single-cell) transcriptomes). You are also flexible and you can work well together.

Your workplace

You work for the Department of Internal Medicine / Nephrology. The department carries out basic, translational and clinical research into kidney, pancreas and islet transplants. Basic research is specifically focused on diabetes, transplantation immunology and vascular medicine.
