Position DescriptionThis Postdoctoral Associate position is within the laboratory of Dr. Ching Zhu, a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and arrhythmia biologist in the Duke Cardiovascular Research Center. The focus of the Zhu Lab is clarifying the mechanisms by which sympathetic nerves drive ventricular arrhythmias, a leading cause of death in the developed world. The ideal candidate is a dedicated scientist with an interest in working directly with the PI on applying interdisciplinary neuroscience and electrophysiology techniques toward studying the nervous system of the heart.
