Summary Description

Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology have an Associate Research Scientist position available to study the molecular genetics of kidney diseases in humans and mouse models. The projects will employ state of the art genomics and bioinformatics approaches (exome, whole genomes, RNA seq, DNA microarray) in humans and animal models to identify susceptibility genes for kidney failure. Minimum Qualification: Requires PhD and prior experience in genetics, bioinformatics, developmental biology and/or programming to handle large Next-Gen sequencing datasets.
