We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable postdoctoral researcher (m/f/x) (100%) for a project in the field of Health systems/chronic diseases. The Joint Action on Cardiovascular Diseases and Diabetes (JACARDI) is a large-scale European project that aims to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease and diabetes in EU countries, both at individual and societal level. JACARDI will implement validated best practices and/or (cost-)effective interventions in countries in the form of pilot studies, complementing and strengthening existing policies and programmes. Additionally, candidates are encouraged to develop new initiatives around chronic disease care in Belgium and abroad. This project is interdisciplinary and spans the domains of public health, health systems, sociology and medicine. You will be appointed for 100%, managed jointly by the Department of Family Medicine and Population Health (FAMPOP) and the Department of Sociology - Center for Demography, Family and Health of the University of Antwerp.
