Professor of Dermatology
Job Summary:The Department of Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary (SVM) invites applications for a Tenure Track, full-time, renewable Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position within the Dermatology Section of the UW Veterinary Care Hospital. The SVM is a collegial, collaborative environment that offers specialty care with board-certified experts in allied services including anesthesia and pain management, cardiology, dentistry and oral surgery, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, medical and radiation oncology, ophthalmology, anatomic and clinical pathology, primary care, special species, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Responsibilities:Tenure track faculty at the University of Wisconsin are expected to participate in clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students, interns, and residents; participate in continuing education programs; and conduct basic science or clinical research that advances academic clinical practice. The expectation would be for the individual to develop an independent extramurally funded research program with an approximate distribution of effort as described below.
