Professor of Immunology and Inflammation Department of Immunology and Microbiology The University seeks to appoint a professor to the Department of Immunology and Microbiology to commence as soon as possible. When considering applications for the professorship, the main emphasis will be on the applicant's ability to document a high level of original scientific work at an international level within the area of immune regulation with an emphasis on cytokine signalling and T cell biology. The professor will conduct research in the cross talk between T cells and the environment/other cells. The aim is to provide knowledge that can guide regulation of T cell functions, eventually leading to improvements in the treatment of T cell-mediated inflammatory diseases and T cell malignancies. The professor will be Head of the Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology and Inflammation https://studies.ku.dk/masters/immunology-and-inflammation/ at the Faculty. Furthermore, the professor will be course leader for a master course in immunology and course leader for the master thesis blocks of the Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology and Inflammation. Applicants with a strong experience in developing and running master programs and with leadership of courses at a university level will therefore be preferred.

Application procedure After the expiry of the deadline for applications, the authorized recruitment manager selects applicants for assessment on the advice of the Appointments Committee.
