One Postdoctoral Position in Clinical Research, Primarily in the Field of Asthmatic and Allergic Disease, Secondarily in other Clinical Research

Two year employment, full-time position.

The position is funded from Lily and Ragnar Åkerhams Foundation. The position will be placed at one of the departments within the faculty of medicine. A letter from the relevant Head of Department should be attached to the application, certifying that the department is prepared to receive the applicant.

Duties: Clinical research.

Requirements: Eligible for employment as postdoctor are those who have a doctoral degree or a foreign
degree found to be equivalent to a doctoral degree. The degree must have been obtained at most three years before the deadline for applications. If there are special reasons the degree may have been obtained earlier. Special reasons refers to absence due to illness, parental leave, commissions of trust within trade unions or other similar circumstances.

Asessment: Special emphasis will be placed on academic proficiency within research in the field of Clinical research, primarily in the field of asthmatic and allergic disease, secondarily in other Clinical research. Personal characteristics will be considered. Following the qualitative holistic assessment of competence and expertise, the applicants who are judged to have the best potential to carry out and develop the relevant duties and to help advance operations will be selected.

The application should also contain an implementation plan, supported by a certificate from the department head that the department can host the applicant.

Salary: Individual salary.
