Professor, Environmental and Occupational Health

The University of California, Irvine, Program in Public Health, Susan and Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences, is seeking applicants for Professor with tenure in the new Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. Qualifications include an outstanding extramurally funded research program in occupational epidemiology, and experience teaching and mentoring medical residents, undergraduate, graduate, and/or postdoctoral students. This position requires a doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, or MD), a strong record of research accomplishments and publications, and internationally recognized research contributions to the field. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research and teaching missions of the department, to contribute to our existing regional cross-university collaborations such as the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health and the Southern California NIOSH Education and Research Center, and to help to shape and expand the new department and proposed new School of Population and Public Health through considerate leadership and service.
