Research Assistant in Scleroderma

Are you an experienced research assistant with an excellent range of laboratory skills? Do you have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail? Do you want to be part of a successful, highly-talented and leading research team?

The purpose of this post is to provide cellular and molecular biology support to projects focused on the early events in the pathogenesis of Systemic Sclerosis. You will have relevant laboratory experience including tissue culture techniques, FACS analysis, qRTPCR, ELISA, western blotting and immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry techniques. The ability to manage your time effectively and work under pressure is essential, along with effective interpersonal, communication, and team working skills.

This 12 month full time post is available immediately and will be based at St James's University Hospital.
