The Faculty of Life Sciences of Kumamoto University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology (Division of Advanced Basic Research II). We are seeking candidates with a profound knowledge and a major scientific achievement in the field. The successful candidate will be expected to direct innovative research and participate in the teaching of students. He/She is required to arrive at the position by the end of September, 2016. He/She will have an opportunity to take a review for the promotion at the position of Professor after 5 years. He/She also can employ an Assistant Professor with a limited term to advance the research.
