Medical Academic Positions The Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) is newly launched at the Dubai Healthcare City. Working with Queen’s University of Belfast as its academic partner, MBRU will train doctors in a culture that champions excellence in education, clinical service and cutting edge research. The College of Medicine offers an innovative 6 – year MBBS program; open to all nationalities. The language of instruction is English. MBRU is soliciting applications for the new academic positions at the ranks of Full Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Basic Medical Sciences for the College of Medicine. MBRU offers competitive compensation packages, including tuition fee support for children’s education and air travel tickets for faculty and eligible family members. Preferred candidates will possess a Ph.D., be medically qualified, possess skills in modern methods of teaching, and a research track record, as well as experience in working with a diverse student population. Candidates will have at least five (Associate) or ten (Full Professor) years academic experience in a recognized University. Evidence of experience in academic leadership will be an advantage. Clinical applicants with qualifications and skills in teaching medical science will be at an advantage.
